📽 Episode 269: Retropower Uncut Welcome to Sunday evening and Retropower Uncut, your weekly roundup of everything happening at RP HQ!
We’re kicking off 2026 with a real spring in our step, thanks in part to some exciting new projects on the horizon, all of which we’ll be sharing with you very soon. Case in point: this Ford Consul Capri. Join Nat for a closer look at what we’ve got planned for this decidedly cool, gloriously old-school slice of Euro-tastic would-be Americana.
Elsewhere in the workshop, it’s full steam ahead on our current metalwork projects. Bobby continues to pour everything into Project Wasaabi, our Saab 900, while Stu presses on with finalising and populating the engine bay of Project Munich, the BMW E9. Project Brenner – our Aston Martin DBS restomod – gets a bold new face this week, as Matt spends his time cutting air ducts into a completely bespoke front end. Brave work, or, in Retropower parlance – “knob-on-block” work. 😬
Over in Assembly, Callum brings you the latest on Project Churchill, Project Portofino, and Project Rooster. All three are hitting pivotal stages, with plenty to look forward to as 2026 unfolds.
Finally, Luke and George from the CAD Collective round things off with design updates across the board, including Project Bassey, our frankly unhinged Reliant Scimitar restomod, destined to run a Ric Wood Motorsport–built Cosworth GAA.
