Welcome back to Retropower Uncut. We kick things off with another visit to the Metalwork Hall, where Nat brings you up to speed on all the latest progress: Matt’s continued work on Project Brenner, Stu deep into fabrication on the BMW E9 (Project Munich), Bobby tackling the ever-puzzling engine bay plumbing on Project Wasaabi, and Scott making solid headway with the formative metalwork phase of Project Altabani – the Fiat Dino.
Over in Assembly, Cal takes charge, running through what the team’s been up to over the past week—plenty of plumbing work across Project Portofino, Project Rooster, and the V8 Opel Manta, plus some ongoing (digital) fettling of the Reliant Scimitar up in the CAD Den.
Meanwhile, Project Geneva (our Jaguar E-Type restomod) continues to demand Luke’s full attention. This week, he’s been carefully cutting apertures into a very expensive, completely unique, full carbon fibre front end. No pressure, then.
