Welcome back to Retropower Uncut!
It’s been another slightly unusual and somewhat disjointed week here at Retropower, thanks in no small part to the school holidays. With several members of the team away enjoying some well-earned sunshine with their families, the workshop has been a little quieter than usual—including Nat, who is currently soaking up the sun ‘oop North.
That means it’s a full Cal Week, so join him as he takes you on a tour of both the Metalwork and Assembly Halls. Despite the reduced team, we’ve been making great progress across the workshop, with some significant visual milestones reached on the Fiat Dino, BMW E9, Saab 900, Project Portofino, and the Jaguar XJC.
We also catch up with Project Lucky Strike (one of our two Austin Allegro/Honda Type R hybrids) which has had a busy week in front of the cameras, being featured by several YouTube channels. Keep your eyes peeled for more details on that very soon.
