Welcome back to Retropower Uncut!
This episode kicks off with George, once of the Assembly Crew but now very much a Metalwork Man. He’s been tasked with planning and fabricating the exhaust for Project Brenner, our Aston Martin, while Stu continues work on the dry-build phase of Project Munich, the BMW E9 restomod.
Other metalwork updates include Project Altabani, the Fiat Dino, and Project Wasaabi, the Saab 900/Audi mash-up.
Over in the Bodyshop, it’s been a case of all hands to the pumps to get Project Geneva ready for paint. The end, while not quite here yet, is very much within sight, as shown by the handful of exterior panels Marc has finished painting. We await your feedback.
In Assembly, the biggest story of the week – other than our work on Project Geneva’s V12 – is Project Churchill, the Mk2 Jaguar Coupe. Its interior is now really starting to come together, and it looks simply sublime: a symphony of blue leather and exquisite stitching.
