Nat opens this episode in somewhat unorthodox fashion, with Matt’s homebuilt Daimler V8 on the stand and ready for some sustained running. It isn’t a Retropower project, granted, but it’s one everyone here is passionate about, if only because of its poignant (and very direct) link to Matt’s late father.
Back to more conventional programming, and Nat’s on hand to bring you up to speed on, amongst others, Project Brenner, where the exhaust is the order of the day; Project Munich, where the plumbing is taking shape; and Project Altabani, where it’s lead, lead and, well, a bit more lead.
He also pauses to give us an update on a burn he managed to inflict on himself last week, so don’t say we don’t give you lot a proper peek behind the curtain at Retropower!
Marc’s back at the helm of the bodyshop and building up towards painting Project Geneva, the Jaguar E-Type restomod.
Over in Assembly – and probably the most exciting development this week, at least visually – we’re pleased to have taken delivery of a sizeable collection of custom billet components, all of it exquisite and all destined for the interior of Project Churchill.
