Welcome back to Retropower Uncut!
As always, it’s been a busy period both in the workshops and out on the road. In this episode, we look back at our latest show appearance at the Drivers’ Collection at Cromford Mills, along with a preview of the car events and gatherings we’ve lined up over the coming months. Back in the workshop, Nat brings you up to speed on the metalwork department, where there’s been significant progress on both the Munich BMW and the Brenner Aston. Meanwhile, Matt and Scott join forces to push Project Altabani Fiat forward.
Over on Project Geneva, there’s an exciting milestone to share: the E-Type has received its first coat of sprayable polyester. It may only be the beginning of the paint process, but seeing the car in a single colour marks a major step forward.
In the Assembly Hall, Cal and the team are all hands on deck as Project Stravaig Camaro moves closer to returning to its lucky owner, while work continues at pace on the Portofini XJC.
We’ve also made strong progress on the interior of Project Churchill Mk2 Jag, and, as tradition dictates, George rounds things off with an update on his latest digital refinements to Project Bassey Reliant Scimitar.
