UNCUT VIDEO BLOG: EPISODE 276

Welcome to Sunday evening and Retropower Uncut; your weekly roundup of everything happening at RP HQ.

Nat’s up first this week, and our resident autocross hero talks us through progress on his own Mini pickup. Powered by an LS V8, it’s shaping up to be a serious monster, and one you’ll hopefully see in action later this year. Watch this space… Nat, you’re on notice.

Elsewhere, attention turns to the Saab 900 (very much Bobby’s pet project), which is making impressive strides. This week he’s begun fabricating the exhaust manifold, a key component and one we’ll be revisiting with further updates next week. There’s plenty happening across the rest of the metalwork department too.

The Project Munich BMW E9 is now much closer to having its rear three-quarters permanently reunited; the Altabani Fiat Dino awaits revised door hinges, and Project Brenner Aston Martin continues edging toward the end of its large-scale fabrication phase.

Over in Assembly, Callum brings updates on Project Churchill and Project Portofino. Churchill now wears even more of its remarkable copper brightwork, while Portofino is currently undergoing exhaust fabrication and fitment.

Meanwhile, up in the CAD Den, Luke and George showcase their latest digital developments, with both the Aston Martin DBS and Reliant Scimitar (Project Bassey) firmly under the spotlight.
