Great Scot!

Retropower’s Scottish road trip is a thoughtfully designed journey that blends exceptional driving roads, dramatic Highland scenery, and visits to some of Scotland’s most interesting automotive and whisky experiences.

Beginning with a relaxed evening meal and stayover near Glasgow, the following day kicks off with a private visit to the Moulsdale Foundation to see one of the UK’s largest car collections. From there, the route opens up into one of the UK’s most celebrated driving regions, heading north into the Highlands. The drive to Glencoe features sweeping roads, towering mountains, and stunning loch views.

The evening is spent in style at the Isles of Glencoe Hotel, where guests can unwind with dinner and views across one of Scotland’s most breathtaking landscapes. The journey then continues eastward, transitioning from rugged Highland terrain to the rolling countryside of Speyside—Scotland’s most famous whisky region.

En route, a stop at Dalwhinnie Distillery provides a relaxed brunch setting before the group reaches Speyside for a deeper dive into whisky craftsmanship. Here, the contrast between innovation and tradition is brought to life through visits to The Macallan Distillery—renowned for its striking modern architecture—and The Gelnfiddich Distillery, one of the few family-owned distilleries and one of the largest.

The final morning offers a unique behind-the-scenes perspective at the Speyside Cooperage, where the ancient craft of cask-making is demonstrated in full.
